The mouflon was delicious. The portion was more than enough for me. The other dishes looked very good as well. In terms of price, it was also okay.

Always a highlight for us. The boss cooks himself and everything tastes delicious. You are served in a friendly, polite and accommodating manner. We are very happy to recommend.

We passed it spontaneously today during the week after a hiking tour with our little daughter. When we asked if there was still room for us, we were nasty with a “No, so I won't do more to myself. I'm alone today! " A simple "Sorry, we're full unfortunately." Would have done it too. The rest of the guests were also visibly shocked by this unfriendly manner in front of the assembled crew on the terrace. Too bad.

Last Tuesday we had a planned lunch stop here with the motorcycles. We had made a reservation but wouldn't have been necessary. The weather was great, we decided to have a table outside. I always like the trout miller there and my husband likes to eat a schnitzel. And so we ordered both. We were served friendly by the boss. She served drinks and food promptly. I was very enthusiastic about the trout again, very good cooking level, crispy skin. The salad that came with it was okay in terms of composition, only the dressing wasn't quite my cup of tea. Next time I'll just ask for some oil and lemon. The schnitzel was big and should fill every hungry guest. This too was well fried. The location in the Polenz valley is wonderful. We'll be back, maybe even over a long weekend. Overnight stays are also offered, which we did about 3 years ago. We liked it.

Nice restaurant (and hotel) in the Polenz Valley. Great outdoor dining area in summer / during warmer weather. Friendly staff and great local dishes. Mostly meat or fish, there are few vegetarian options. You can walk from Hohnstein (around 50 minutes, beware that the valley is pretty steep), but it's more easily reached by car (or bus, as there is a bus stop nearby).

Had a bike stop there with a group of 17 people. The beer was good and there was enough space for all of us outside. The waitress came across as a little annoyed and a few orders for drinks were forgotten, but otherwise everything was good.

Three adults and three children made happy (July 31, 2020). Very tasty food, freshly cooked, seasonal and tasty. We enjoyed it very much. Think of warm clothes on the terrace in the evening, in the valley by the stream it gets fresh quickly. Nice service, just good. All thumbs up. :-)

Delicious, friendly, perfect value for money. Sit comfortably on the terrace and hear the ripple of Polenz. What more could you want after a climbing / hiking day

Open at least. Food is very ordinary for the price. Radeberger beer meat is bland and tasteless. Ready-made dumplings, just made warm. We are full, nothing more. Far and wide no competition.

Quiet and idyllic location, nice service and the food tasted. Highly recommended restaurant (unfortunately I can not judge the rooms), also priced everything! The desserts were freshly prepared. The in-house beer met my expectations without any problems. For the dogs were available water bowls, which I personally rarely see in restaurants and therefore would like to comment here positively.
